Every week, thousands of campaigns across Kroger sites deliver sales growth for CPG brands. The Kroger Ad Platform (KAP) is built to give campaign managers speed, control and flexibility. Our team is routinely adding new self-service capabilities.
Discover what’s new in KAP — from enhanced campaign activation and expanded measurement capabilities to smarter keyword management:
Campaign Activation Tools
- Multi-Brand Product Listing Ads: Select multiple brands from one account.
- Meta Direct Connect in KAP: Manage Meta campaigns and premium Kroger audiences now in KAP.
- Saved Views: Save commonly used filter sets for quick access on the Campaigns (Onsite & Offsite) and Creative Library pages.
- TOA Sub-Commodity Manual Entry: Paste sub-commodities into the Bid Management step of a TOA using “Add / Remove Sub-commodities” to replicate targeting from a previous TOA.
- Brand Filters in Audience Builder: Filter UPCs by brand when building audiences or selecting proxy UPCs for a TOA.
Reporting & Measurement Enhancements
- Campaign Goals: Set desired ROAS goal for campaign ad groups.
- Bid Performance Insights: Adjust bids while comparing live performance data all within one dashboard.
- Enhanced Reporting Filters: Improved filters allow you to refine data by timeframe, campaign, or criteria to focus on the most relevant metrics.
- Metric Tooltips: Tooltips added to key metrics provide definitions and context directly within the reporting interface.
- Save & Schedule Reports: Save customized reports and schedule automated delivery at your preferred frequency to ensure consistent access to updated data.
- Report Template Updates: Updated templates include pre-built configurations for common use cases and can be customized as needed.
- Date Compare Functionality: Compare campaign performance against a defined prior period — week, month, quarter, or year.
- Pacing Ratio: Shows rate of ad group spend relative to planned budget for campaign period. Refreshed nightly and displayed within Campaigns alongside Ad Group performance.
Keyword Updates
- Keyword Science Update: Updated methodology ensures boosted S&B PLA keywords no longer drop off of the keyword list. Non-boosted keywords may still drop off to make room for newly eligible keywords.
- Keyword Bid Modifier Bulk Upload: Upload a CSV/XLSX file of keywords and bids — or copy and paste directly — using “Manual Entry” to populate the keyword table.
