
What's New in the Kroger Ad Platform: New Self-Service Tools That Move Performance Forward
Every week, thousands of campaigns across Kroger sites drive sales growth for CPG brands. The Kroger Ad Platform (KAP) is built to give campaign managers speed, control and flexibility.
This quarter, we’ve expanded self-service offerings across KAP—spanning creative enhancements, onsite campaign capabilities, and improved campaign workflows.

New Onsite Campaign Capabilities
-New TOA Click-Thru: Weekly Digital Deals (WDD) is now available as a separate click-through destination in the TOA workflow, enabling specific measurement of TOAs amplifying WDDs.
-Keyword Boost Expansion: Now access to up to 10,000 keywords per ad group and increased boost limits with up to 250 keywords per ad group, enabling greater scale and performance optimization.
-Branded Landing Pages (BLPs): BLPs are now available in KAP as a new self-service campaign type, replacing the managed-service Brand Shop solution. Brands can create a dedicated shoppable destination with a unique, brand-owned URL across Kroger digital properties, featuring curated product showcases and customizable creative zones.
Creative Enhancements:
-Flexible Ad Assets: Reduces TOA creative setup while enabling shared ad copy across all formats, streamlining production, improving consistency, and simplifying campaign updates.
-Updated Sponsorship Labeling: Targeted Onsite Ads now use a streamlined “Sponsored” tag outside the creative in place of the Featured Flag, improving visual clarity.
Workflow & Performance Enhancements
-New Single-Page TOA Workflow: Introduces a unified single-page ad group workflow that allows users to complete campaign setup on one page, complemented by a sidebar summary panel and enhanced validation messaging for a more streamlined activation experience.
-Optimized Even-Pacing Budget Logic: Enhances budget pacing by allocating spend evenly across flight dates. Dynamically adjusts hourly spend throughout the day based on 2-week historical site traffic patterns to optimize for high-traffic shopping moments.
